On 28th July 2025, students of The Scholar High School, from Classes 6 to 8, participated in a vibrant plantation drive organized by the Nature Club at Radio Club – Gateway of India (Divider). Over 45 yellow Pandanus spider plant saplings were planted with enthusiasm and care. Each student was assigned a specific area and encouraged to adopt and nurture their plant.
Adding to the excitement, Mr. Makrand Narvekar (Councillor – Colaba) joined the event to plant a sapling alongside the students and teachers. He also addressed the young minds, urging them to promote environmental awareness and adopt green living practices. The event was inaugurated by Ms.Bella Shah(Social worker), who addressed the students and spoke about the importance of trees in combating pollution, improving air quality, and maintaining ecological balance.
The initiative not only beautified the area but also instilled a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship among the students.
