Reflecting on my learning experiences and memories from school fills me up with nostalgia and a sense of growth. The classroom was more than just a place of education, it was a sanctuary where curiosity thrived and friendships blossomed.

Some of my fondest memories are of animated discussions with classmates and teachers who ignited my passion for learning. Even though I was not a bright student i learnt alot from my mates and teachers as they guided and encouraged me.

From participating in school plays, Dancing, Singing to engage in sports and extracurricular activities every moment contributed to my growth as an individual.

As I now sit down and look back 40 years, my time at The Scholar High School stands out as a pivotal period in my life.

Attending the school from 1963 to 1975, I had the privilege of being part of the 1975 ICSE batch.

Our dedicated Founder Principal, Mrs. Mildred Grant and her daughter, Ms. Carolyn, along with a dynamic team of teachers provided a solid foundation for my personal and academic growth, in a positive and nurturing environment.

The friendships I formed and the lessons I learned have stayed with me throughout my journey.

I really appreciate the privilege of being a scholarite. The education and values I received at school have stood by me all my life.

I remember the friends I encountered there, some of whom I’ve kept in touch with all through the years, and have so many memories of the teachers I studied under. Mr. Mishra, who used to teach us Hindi was a very courageous and noble soul, who taught us values and living, much more than what was just on the syllabus with his many stories and anecdotes. My English teacher, I think was called Mrs. Fernandes, I cannot recall her name for sure but I got some of her passion for the languages and reading from her and that has lasted a lifetime.

I am truly grateful to my parents for having selected such a good school for my education, and say to all my teachers, a very humble thank you.

As an institution, Scholar has given me a sound education, good values and discipline which I have cherished till date.

Being a resident of Cusrow Baug my friends and I would stroll into school just before the bell rang. Many a time, we would reach just as the assembly began and got detained outside the gate by our head master Mr. Chabria. However, after some sweet excuses, we would be allowed in .

As an institution, Scholar has given me a sound education, good values and discipline which I have cherished till date. Our founder principal Mrs. M.M.Grant was a living example of these values.

Our teachers were always there for us. School used to be a mix of good academics, fun and sports. In spite of a shortage of open spaces, the school always arranged some facility for sports and swimming. Our bus ride to the CCI pool for swimming classes was a high point which we always looked forward to.
I hope that the school goes from strength to strength in the years to come.

I started my journey with Little Wizards from 2007 in Junior Kg and completed my education upto STD 10th from The Scholar High School in the year 2019 after scoring 93% in Science Field.

I started my journey with Little Wizards from 2007 in Junior Kg and completed my education upto STD 10th from The Scholar High School in the year 2019 after scoring 93% in Science Field. I am currently pursuing an IT Engineering Course at Shah & Anchor Engineering College, Chembur.

It was a great journey from Junior Kg to STD 10th under the guidance of Ms. Nehal Sheth & Ms. Parinaz Nania in pre-primary, Ms. Linda D’Souza in primary, followed by Ms. Mansukhani in the secondary.
Sir Umesh, Sir Dinesh Singh, Sir Pankaj, Ms. Munira, Ms. Rizwana and all the other teachers helped a lot with my studies and motivated me from time to time. The education I received here was extraordinary.

My educational journey began at Little Wizards, where I first discovered the joy of learning in a safe and loving environment. The teachers, like Nehal ma’am and Parinaz ma’am, were instrumental in teaching us the basics. One of my fondest memories is the annual meet in Senior Kg, a day full of excitement that I still cherish. Watching the CD from that event brings back a lot of happy memories.

Moving on to The Scholar High School was the next big step. Entering the first grade, I was met with a vibrant environment that encouraged both learning and personal growth. My primary school years were incredibly enriching, thanks to the dedication of teachers like Mrs. Vaz, Mrs. Jones, Sir Umesh, and Sir Santosh. Our primary head, Mrs. D’Souza, was always there for us. These years were crucial, as I not only excelled in my studies but also discovered my love for sports, especially football.

Secondary school brought new challenges and opportunities. The competition became tougher, but so did the chances to engage in extracurricular activities. Representing our school in various competitions was a valuable experience. Teachers like Master Miss, Bastawala Miss, Mishra Miss, Dwivedi Miss, Singh Sir, and Rizwana Ma’am were crucial in guiding us. I also took on leadership roles, such as Games Captain and House Captain, which taught me about responsibility and teamwork.

Currently, I am studying Computer Engineering at D. J. Sanghvi College of Engineering. I completed my first year with excellent scores. The strong foundation built at Little Wizards and Scholar High School has been incredibly supportive in my academic journey. The basics and fundamentals taught by my beloved teachers have been invaluable, and I am confident they will continue to help me in the future.
