On Monday, 4th August 2025, The Scholar High School conducted a Dental Screening Camp in its campus as part of its student wellness initiative. The event was aimed at encouraging healthy oral hygiene habits and identifying potential dental concerns at an early stage.
The camp began with an interactive session on oral hygiene. Students were engaged through visual aids and discussions, emphasizing the importance of brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups.
A comprehensive dental check-up was conducted for all students in the Primary Section by qualified dental professionals. The screening focused on common dental issues such as cavities, plaque, gum health, and alignment concerns.
Each child was issued an individual Dental Health Report Card, summarizing the observations made during the examination. Recommendations for further dental care, if needed, were also provided.
The camp successfully met its objectives of spreading oral health awareness and facilitating early detection of dental issues.
The students responded with enthusiasm, and the session helped inculcate essential dental hygiene practices from a young age.
