Houses
The house system allows a healthy sense of competition amongst students and is also a platform for students to get to know their juniors and seniors. Since time immemorial, houses have been a means for Scholarites to understand the importance of team work, dedication and perseverance beyond academics through sport and play.
Named after the forefathers of our nation, each house has represented virtues and values of eminent personalities in Indian History.Each house motto draws inspiration from the wise words of its namesake. The three houses are:
Gandhi
House Motto: “What lies ahead of you & what lies behind you is nothing compared to what lies within you”. – Mahatma Gandhi
House Colour: Green which stands for Balance & Harmony, Compassion & Generosity
Tagore
House Motto: :“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in you. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.” – Rabindranath Tagore
House Colour: Blue which stands for Depth & Sincerity, Intelligence & Imagination
Nehru
House Motto: “There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
House Colour: Red which stands for Courage &Determination, Versatility &Practicality
